Digital Art Requirements

ACCEPTED FILE TYPES:

PDF (Flatten file and embed ALL fonts) AI (Convert type to Outlines; everything on 1 layer)
EPS (Convert type to Outlines) JPG (300dpi or higher) TIF (300dpi or higher)

 

CMYK COLOR MODE:

If your files are submitted using any color standard other than CMYK or
PANTONE® Coated, BCE South accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR COLOR SHIFTING.

Specific color matches or matching printed samples will incur artwork fees starting at $55.

 

BLEEDS:

No additional charge, but please provide .125" beyond the finished-edge for back trimming.

 

SAFETY ZONE:

Important text or artwork elements you wish to preserve MUST be
at least .125" inside of the final dimensions of your design.

 

BORDERS:

It is essential that your design use at least a .125" of white space from your border
to the cut line in order to maintain a symmetric appearance.

 

LINE THICKNESS:

If you are using a line border, be sure to make that line at least .5pt in thickness
to ensure that it prints correctly.

 

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE:

Standard Full-color turnaround is 4 working days.
Add 1-2 days for any finishing or bindery options added

Files MUST be submitted in a format that is easy to separate.

The easiest file to work from is an EPS (outlined) file.
- Avoid trapping or knockouts
- Send separations along with a composite file when submitting projects.

SCORING....$15 per 1000....Maximum 2 rules per pass

FOLDING....$15 per 1000
